Kim and I leave Seattle at about 6:00am. Headed for Uncle Dave and Granny's in Bend, OR. We decide to stop in Centralia and have a "light" breakfast of biscuits and gravy, sausage, hashbrowns and eggs at the Country Cousin.
Two phone booths at Government Camp, OR. (They just seem so quaint in the era of cell phones.) We stopped here for gas. Heading up there really sucked up the gas (even out of the Prius). But we made it to Bend and back with about a third of a tank leftover after this fillup, so the Prius really does rock the gas mileage.

After our arrival in Bend, we all celebrate happy hour with scratch margaritas outside on the patio. And toast a Happy Birthday to Auntie Ann. It's good to be here, and we wish she was too.
