Saturday, September 15th, Becky and Charles picked me up and we headed down to Portland for Cory's 40th birthday shindig. Unfortunately we had to contend with a giant convoy of trucks trying to raise money for the Special Olympics. We have nothing against Special Olympics, but we have everything against a giant convoy of trucks that kept getting in our way. (Especially when I was looking very forward to the next rest stop-if you know what I mean.) Arggh. Anyway, I took a picture of our car - if you click on the picture you'll be able to see our little blue Subaru in the middle of the big rig's hub.
