Juliet got two turtles for Christmas. This is one of them. (I'm not sure if it's Jake or Speedy...)
I took this picture on December 23rd. After Mike and Juliet dropped me off at home (following a lovely dinner at their house) that night, my house was cold. The furnace had stopped working. I hit the reset button: Zilch. So, long story short, I was cold for a few MORE days before finally getting the furnace fully repaired on Thursday, the 28th. This was the coldest Christmas season ever. (At least inside our house.)
